This view shows the east side of Main Street, a little north of Bailey Avenue, around 1910. At left is Gottlieb's shoe store, which today is the Raveis Real Estate office. Right behind the car is Hibbart's Market which, with a couple of nearby buildings, was destroyed in a fire around 1930. Nonetheless, the scene today looks very much like this, except for the lack of the magnificent elm. The town hall is the reddish building down the street.
